This is a sort of Tower Defense game. Enemies are moving along the path and you need to place units on the path's edges to kill the enemies. First of all, you have people instead of turrets, and besides there are several unique features: The path is wide and the area covered by your shooters is small, so you need to place warriors on both sides of the path to hit all enemies; Once you place your unit, you'll need to define its direction which actually means the are it will cover. You can then rotate your unit during the battle or between the battles; Units earn experience and raise levels. You can't upgrade them for money, but wait until they get upgraded by themselves.
