This game's principle is somewhat similar to chess, but it's far from being the same. In fact, this game is much simpler. You start with a board full of graves. You can spend one of your turns to raise a ghoul from one of the graves. It will not necessarily be your ghoul. It can be your opponent's ghoul as well, so doing this you can rely only on luck. Once you have at least on ghoul, you can move it to adjacent squares or attack opponent's ghouls located in adjacent squares. A ghoul can only attack ghouls that have equal o lower strength with one exception: ghoul with strength 1 kills ghoul with strength 6. If your ghoul kills an opponent's ghoul, it moves to its square, so the game's strategy actually reminds chess.
